Policies & Terms

Space is limited and will be assigned on first come, first serve basis. A $50 per person (or sum requested on individual flyer) deposit to hold your place is due within 7 days of telephoning in a reservation. You will be confirmed on a trip when your full payment has been received in our office. A receipt indicating balance due will be issued on deposits only. We will notify you by phone if space has sold out upon receipt of your check. Otherwise, you will receive an itinerary, emergency form and baggage tag for overnight trips. Special room requests such as "non-smoking room" should be made when signing up. Room requests will be made with the hotel but cannot be guaranteed. There is no special assigned seating on the motorcoach.

PLEASE NOTE: Smoking is prohibited on the motorcoach. Baggage handling is included for one piece of luggage on most overnight trips. Silver Bay Tours can accept no responsibility for loss or damage to baggage or belongings. Silver Bay Tours can arrange baggage insurance. Items such as meals and other fees may be included in trip costs and will be specified in the itineraries. Items of a personal nature such as phone calls, taxis, room service, etc, are the responsibility of the individual.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Unless otherwise stated in the itinerary. individual cancellations made less than 72 hours prior to a trip will receive no refund unless a substitute can be found. Any non-recoverable funds will be charged to you. Once the trip is in progress, unused portions of the tour are non-refundable. Longer trips may have special cancellation policies and these will be detailed on trip information flyers. Trip cancellation insurance is advised and available through Silver Bay Tours.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Silver Bay Tours reserves the right to adjust any tour when it becomes necessary or desirable for the protection, safety, or improvement of the tour, or when conditions do not permit operation of the program as published. In the event of change, Silver Bay Tours will try to substitute comparable services; in the event of complete cancellation by Silver Bay Tours we will return all monies paid to us. Silver Bay Tours also reserves the right to decline or detain any tour passenger should such person's health, mental condition, or physical infirmity impede the operation of the tour, or the rights, welfare, or enjoyment of the other tour passengers, all at the discretion of Silver Bay Tours and/or their agents.

RESPONSIBILITY: Silver Bay Tours is the tour operator. We make arrangements with hotels and other independent parties to provide you with the travel services you purchase. These parties are independent suppliers over whom we have no direct control. We are responsible to you for all services and accommodations offered which are under the direct control of Silver Bay Tours. However, in the absence of negligence on our part, we are not responsible for any claims, losses, damages, costs or expenses arising out of injury, accident or death; damage, loss or delay of baggage or other property, or delay, inconvenience, loss of enjoyment, upset, disappointment, distress or frustration, whether physical or mental resulting from (1) the act or omission of any party other than Silver Bay Tours or its employees (2) mechanical breakdown (3) inability to follow instructions of escort or as described in the itinerary (4) cancellation or change for any reason in the travel services offered; and (5) medical or health problems or physical disabilities. Silver Bay Tours reserves the right to cancel or alter the travel services at its discretion except as otherwise noted herein.
